Seagulls and Sad Sad Stories.
Three lads, one fortune telling machine and the whole rest of their lives.
LAURELS THEATRE, WHITLEY BAY · 9 – 23 DECEMBER 2024
CHIPS · CHAOS · FORTUNE
Make a wish.
Eggy, Ollie and Jordan are sixteen, waiting on their GCSE results and running out of seafront to run along. A battered fortune telling machine offers them a look at what comes next. None of them like what it says.
Sarah Bond's debut full length play is funny, furious and tender, played out at full pelt with a live house band, puppetry and a coastline that refuses to let anyone leave. It opened at Laurels in Whitley Bay as an alternative Christmas show and raised gifts for the Cash for Kids Mission Christmas appeal.
