Micky grows up on a Hartlepool council estate while the world around him narrows towards crime. His route out begins with puppetry and a monkey sidekick.
Created and performed by Jamie Eastlake, with writing by Eastlake and John Hickman, Monkey's Blood follows a working-class lad from the North East towards an unlikely life as a national children's television star.
